St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church, as part of our outreach ministry in our Rancho Peñasquitos community, is a chartered member of the San Diego-Imperial Council of the Boy Scouts of America. We sponsor Boy Scout Troop 667, the all-girl Troop 1667 and Cub Scout Pack 629.
For over 100 years, Scouting programs have instilled in youth the values found in the Scout Oath and Scout Law. Today, as in 1910, these values are relevant in helping youth grow to their full potential. The overall aims of Scouting are to develop character, self-confidence, leadership and citizenship skills, and all around fitness—physically, mentally, and morally.
